Media language



Layout - Lots of text but the images are big. Grabs the readers attention, when you pick it up the first thing you see is the picture- Makes you wan to read the article and it is symmetrical, Ordered; makes it more formal the use of the Z technique

Typography
Bold and elegant masthead - using the phone Serif It is blocky and slightly rounded, reflects the newspaper and their ABC1 readership target audiences, Bright colours used in the skybox to make it sound out. Simple Font to ease the reader into reading it

Language
Formal language. Direct dress to make the reader feel inclusive and involved with newspaper

Images
She looks strong and she has not been sexualised as she is covered up showing a strong independent woman - The other images help to further promote and sell the magazine to people - to much 4editing in the images to show the real life that they are talking about

Graphics and colour
Black masthead, purple being used as it is a neutral colour; it reflects the liberal beliefs of the newspaper, yellow phone to connote happiness
